Janine's experience spans twenty plus years implementing programs to enhance client experience at all levels: individual, employee, company and customer. As a consultant, motivational speaker and Blue Zone® Coach*, Janine challenges organizations and individuals to examine daily life practices, and motivates them to implement high-impact change with positive, sustainable results.
Most recently, Janine was with The Bristal Assisted Living as Regional Director of Business Development. In this role, she promoted a resident centric culture to enrich the experiences of staff, residents, and families. Janine initiated, designed and developed programs that engaged the Bristal residents and the community at large including The Bristal Better U, an interactive continuous educational life-long learning program and The Bristal Helping Hands, a program to support the non-profit community while providing purpose to residents. During her tenure, she also launched The Bristal's Our Place Memory Café, the first memory café on Long Island that serves the socialization needs of caregivers and their loved ones with dementia.
Prior to her entry into the senior living industry, Janine worked for Cablevision Systems Corporation in managerial roles within various departments. All of her roles had the common thread of customer service and client experience enhancement.
Janine currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Long Island Family Caregivers Coalition (LIFCC) and President of Gerontology Professionals of New York (GPNY). She has previously served as President of Senior Umbrella Network of Nassau (SUN) and Director of Programs for the Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women and continues her involvement as an active member of both organizations.
