Michael Lindstadt was raised in West Babylon, New York. Like many of us, he endured multiple heartbreaking experiences wherein family members were caused to suffer serious injuries. Personal experiences such as these created passions in Michael for justice, finding the truth and protecting the injured.
With determination Michael attended St. John's University, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and was a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. Thereafter he was awarded a scholarship to Hofstra Law, and was elected as the student Editor-in-Chief of the Family Court Review, a publication of Blackwell Publishing. During that time he was also awarded judicial internships in both the Federal and NYS Supreme Courts.
Michael started practicing law at Kopff Nardelli & Dopf, LLP, at the time one of Manhattan's premier medical malpractice defense firms, and represented doctors and hospitals such as Memorial Sloan-Kettering and Lenox Hill Hospital. Thereafter he expanded his areas of practice to construction law and in 2009 made the switch from representing defendant companies, hospitals and municipalities, to representing plaintiffs and everyday people. He then helped oversee the litigation department of a successful plaintiff's personal injury firm in the Bronx. In 2012 Michael began his solo career, and in addition to representing his own clients, was hired as trial counsel by other lawyers and law firms.
In 2014 Michael opened Lindstadt Law PLLC, with offices in Bronx, Long Island, Manhattan, Queens and White Plains. In June 2014 Michael was admitted to the Bar of the US Supreme Court, along with 42 other attorneys of the NYS Bar Association. Michael is also a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Bronx Bar Association, where he sits on the Judiciary Committee.
Michael prides himself on honesty, loyalty, experience, hard work and care.
